Fashionistas-Fancy with Flowers and Kitty Cute

Yes, yes, double yes! More of the group of 11 dolls I bought, these two were high on the want list!

Fancy with Flowers

Ha! Just look at her, she is awesome! The hair, the skin, the pose! Gorgeous! Fancy with Flowers is a fairly dark skinned doll with long curly black/brown hair. Brown eyes with minimal makeup, and then hot pink lips. She's wearing a yellow dress with large purple flowers, bright blue high heels and watching earrings finish the look.
She's just as pretty in person. She uses the Kim mould, which is a fairly new mould and I believe made for the Fashionista line.

Unfortunately, with her awesome looking model muse body comes the complete inability to pose her in any normal way. This is "sitting". Comfortable, right?

Here she is in her altogether, check this beauty out! The leg pose is crazy fun, but not practical for a toy line.
Apparently, she is called "Chandra". Fancy with Flowers aka Chandra. There was another doll named Chandra released by Mattel in the late 2000s, but she wasn't technically part of the Barbie line, though she used the same head and body moulds. She was a So In Style doll, a line of black dolls released to give black girls a doll line all of their own. SIS Chandra uses the Mbili head mould though. Is she a connection to this earlier doll? Probably not, but I'd like to think she is.

Kitty Cute (without original outfit)

Another doll I was excited for, gotta love the fiery hair and freckles, the tiny body. She's a redress, and it's cheap and not well suited for her, so I'll have to find her something a little more awesome, and a little less red and pink.

Kitty Cute is a petite doll, and boy does she seem small. While I don't think she's actually smaller than the other petite dolls there is something about her look that makes me think she should be s  friend of Skipper, maybe even Stacie. She's like the Fashionista Kid Sister.
Kitty Cute Original Outfit

Look at the cute face on this doll! I love the brightness of the red hair, and it's two-tone. You can slightly make out the darker red at the part. She's got light brown eyes and adorable freckles, all topped off with light pink lips.
The flash on this picture makes her hairline look like it's thinning, but it looks fine in person. The ends of her hair are a little scraggly though.
This doll uses the Millie face mould, which seems to be quite popular right now.
Same picture with a different filter because her hair looks better!
I don't know if she has a name yet, I'm calling her Annie.
