Fashionistas-Lovely in Lilac and Random Redressed Neko

This is the second set of Fashionistas from the group of 11 dolls that I purchased from E-Bay.

Lovely in Lilac

Have you ever had one of those days where you feel awkward in your own skin? None of your clothes fit? Can't get your hair to look just right? Smelling not so fresh? Lovely in Lilac knows those days. Lovely in Lilac is the embodiment of those days.

Why is this doll so awkward? Her pose? The unflattering style and cut of her dress? Can the tall dolls not wear high heels, does it just place them off balance too much?

Lovely in Lilac wears a dress that looks like it would be better suited on a Skipper. It is a pale purple/lilac colour with a flower pattern. She also has matching heels. A silver necklace finishes her look.  She's a tall doll, with fair skin. Her arm is posed awkwardly, and she stands like she's got a hunchback.

She's got dark blond hair and brown eyes. She's got a pretty enough face, a little bland compared to some of the Fashionistas, but for every rose, there are a thousand dandelions, so there. Also, I tied her hair back, she comes with it loose.
See? Pretty enough face. What the hell went wrong with the rest? Also, what face mould is this doll? I'm thinking Summer circa 2011? Modified Carnival?
Awkwardly sitting. Again, like all current Fashionistas, she doesn't pose! No how, no way! Those long, long legs just stick straight out!
Neko

When I bought this lot of dolls I knew I was getting a few redressed dolls, and she was one of them. I wish I knew who she was originally, it makes it hard to review a doll when you don't know 100% who she is. Obviously, she's a Neko and based on her Model Muse pose, hairstyle and face paint I'm guessing she's #10 Kitty Dress.

Her current dress is a very, very cheap Barbie dress, with some crazy ugly pink shoes.
I've heard a lot of people talking love for this doll, and you know my love for dolls of different ethnicities, but to be totally honest I find her a little plain. She has long dark brown/black hair, brown eyes, and medium pink lips. Her eyebrows don't match the colour of her hair and that annoys me. Also, the shape of her eyes is clearly referencing her heritage, which is very cool.
She uses the Lea face mould.
Her body style makes it hard to pose her, she's pretty much standing in one position or semi-relaxing in this one...
Shall we talk about her weirdo body? I actually like the model muse bodies, and as I mentioned with Geometric Print Skirt, it can really work for these dolls. But not this body! It is way, way too uncomfortable for a toy that is meant to be played with. The angle of her hip means that her right leg is always longer than her left leg. It makes me think that she was in a really bad tractor accident when she was a child, and they never could fix her leg just right. So now she has to wear those shoes with two different sized soles to make up the difference in her legs. Why a tractor? Why not?
Future redress? Probs. I'm not giving her a name, as she is already Neko.

Once again, the growing posse of Fashionistas.
Left to Right: Geometric Print Skirt, Zig&Zag, Tutu Cool, Lovely in Lilac, Terrific Teal, Neko, Crazy for Coral and Western Chic.
